UPDATE: My shop is now closed…thank you to everyone who supported it!
This giveaway is now closed. Congratulations to Crystal R.! Be sure to check back often for future giveaways.
A few weeks ago I announced the new shop here on Paper Planes selling handmade accessories and home decor from northern Thailand.
Thailand has many handicraft traditions that are still going strong and you can easily find many goods, from furniture, to jewelry to clothes, handmade to order. The markets are filled with unique, handcrafted goods and I’ve selected some of my favorites to share on Paper Planes.
Most items found in the store are handmade and every product has been individually hand-selected specifically for Paper Planes. Some of my favorite items are these colorful, handmade batik coin purses (and only $7.00!), these sets of temples bells (that sound just as pretty as they look), and these woven hanging decorations that are unique to the Lanna, or northern, region of Thailand and used outdoors to decorate for festivals, holidays or just for fun – I still have the ones I bought on my very first trip to Thailand five years ago hanging up!
More items will be added to the shop soon and announcements – and deals – will be shared first with those on my mailing list before being available to all readers. So…
Sign up for the mailing list (I promise to not flood your inbox!) between now and next Friday, June 27th at 5:00 p.m. PST to be entered to win one of these handmade woven purses with removable leather strap (above) in your choice of color (below) as well as a discount code to receive 15% off an entire order.
Currently I’m shipping within the United States, so this giveaway is only valid for those residing in the U.S., however others can still sign up for the mailing to be the first to know when shipping is extended to other countries.
As always, thanks for reading and good luck!
